Cars

Each one of our cars is designed and manufactured by students, with the assistance of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Machine Shop and our generous sponsors. Our cars are designed to meet technical specifications and rules set by the Formula SAE Australasia (FSAE-A) Competition. Our team members use programs such as Solidworks to design various components of the car, manage a budget to purchase materials and parts and utilise equipment in UTS workshops and external sponsors to manufacture the car.

Our team has built 8 combustion cars since foundation in 1999, making 10 appearances so far in the Formula SAE Competition. In 2015, we will be entering our first electric vehicle.
